February 9, 2012: TransGlobal Energy® would like to congratulate Southern Company on the announcement of the approval from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to build two new 1,100-megawatt AP1000 units at Plant Vogtle near Waynesboro Georgia, USA. Plant Vogtle will be the first Nuclear Power Plant built in the United States in over 30 years. The project will help stimulate Georgia’s economy by bringing thousands of jobs to the State and provide substantial benefits to the citizens of the state of Georgia.
